The newest of the big private hospitals and the most transparent about money, which is why it is worth a look even if you have never heard of it. MedPark publishes its delivery packages as a straightforward price list with the number of nights and the room type attached, something most of its competitors will not do. The maternity ward is on the sixteenth floor with river and lake views, and the building is new enough that everything still works.

Worth knowing

The published prices carry a condition worth reading: they are reserved for Thai citizens and expatriates residing in Thailand, they require payment in advance in full, and they are non-refundable in all circumstances. The exclusions are also unusually specific, phototherapy for jaundice and any treatment of newborn complications are outside the package, and jaundice is common enough that it is worth budgeting for rather than being surprised by.
